About monthkey
Free printable calendars, made with care
What monthkey is
monthkey is an independent website that publishes free printable calendars for every month from 2026 to 2029. Each calendar fits on a single sheet of US Letter or A4 paper, with US federal holidays and widely observed days marked on the grid. There is no account to create, no email address to hand over and no watermark on what you print.
Alongside the monthly calendars you will find full-year calendars, a page for each of the 17 holidays we track with its date in every year, live countdowns, and an undated blank calendar you can fill in by hand.
How the calendars are made
Dates are calculated, not typed in. Each holiday follows the rule that defines it: a fixed date like July 4, a pattern like the fourth Thursday in November, or the lunar rule behind Easter. When a federal holiday falls on a weekend, the pages also show the weekday federal employees have off, and those days off have been checked against the schedule published by the US Office of Personnel Management.
The background on each holiday draws on primary sources, including the Congressional Research Service, the National Archives, the US Department of Labor and the Library of Congress. Equinox and solstice dates come from the US Naval Observatory.
