Ways to use a blank calendar

An undated grid works for any month, which makes it handy wherever a printed calendar would be too fixed. A few ideas:

  • Chore chart. Write each person's jobs in the squares and tick them off through the week.
  • Habit tracker. Mark every day you exercise, read or practice, and watch the streak build.
  • Meal planner. Plan dinners for the month and build a shopping list straight from the grid.
  • School or sports schedule. Keep practices, games and homework deadlines in one place.
  • Shift rota. Fill in who works which day and pin a copy on the fridge or in the break room.

Filling it in

Write the month and year on the top line. Then find the weekday the month starts on (every dated month page on monthkey shows it) and number the squares from there. Tick Lines for notes above the grid if you want extra writing space below it.
